Jessner Peel

 

The Jessner peel is our most aggressive, results-driven peel that combines the effective power of salicylic acid (a beta-hydroxy acid), lactic acid (an alpha-hydroxy acid) and resorcinol to penetrate deep within the skin’s surface correcting even the most extensive damage. Your skin care technician will determine how many layers he/she thinks is necessary for your individual concerns and skin type.  During this treatment you may experience a slight burning sensation, which can be minimized with cool air on the treatment site. You will most likely experience flaking or shedding of the skin over the next five to ten (5-10 days). It is recommended you do not schedule this treatment too close to a specific occasion or event you may be attending. After the skin is completely healed, you will enjoy smoother, softer, more youthful looking skin.
