Salicylic Acid Peel

Salicylic acid is a highly effective peeling agent and an excellent pore cleanser. This peel is most commonly used on acne prone and aging skin. Unlike glycolic acid, salicylic is a beta-hydroxy acid and has an anti-inflammatory effect great for treating even the most severe cases of acne and sensitive skin. This type of peel works by gently removing dead skin cells, balancing oil production and lessens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is not recommended for women that are currently pregnant, planning a pregnancy or lactating.
